Stephania was amazing! She was the only person that we had good contact with the entire time of planning. We had a lot of issues with the online person from the resort but Stephania calmed our concerns and handled all of our questions, comments, issues in a very timely manner. She offered to help us in any way that should could even if it meant more time for her. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what the bride wanted. Lissette, who is apart of Velvet, was amazing. She was patient with all my requests and changes last minute. She was so responsive and I felt well taken care of and understood. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Velvet Event Design, especially Raul and his incredible team. During the planning process, we shared mock-up photos that captured our vision for both the ceremony and reception spaces, and they brought that vision to life flawlessly. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, from the floral arrangements and décor to the way each element complemented the overall setting. Everything looked absolutely perfect, and we were amazed by how cohesive, elegant, and intentional the final design felt. It was clear that Raul and his team took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned while also using their creativity and expertise to make it even more beautiful than we imagined. Walking into the finished spaces for the first time was such a memorable moment. The design created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding and made the entire celebration feel even more special. We are incredibly thankful to Raul and everyone at Velvet Event Design for their talent, professionalism, attention to detail, and care throughout the process. I began working with Lisette from Velvet Design in May 2026 for my 13 July 2026 at Finest Playa Mujeres. Lisette was INCREDIBLE – she responded promptly and she even went out of her way to meet with me at 6 PM her time so I could videochat with her from Australia. Lisette absolutely understood my vision and love for pink. She seemed so excited about my wedding and working with her was an absolute DREAM. When I saw our wedding I gasped. Lissette OUTDID herself!!!! Everything was above / beyond what I had expected – the florals were way larger than I had expected, the floral chandelier was stunning, the custom dance floor was PERFECTION and she even threw in some extra florals and some cute pink ottomans for the lounge!!! I wanted a lot of custom items for our wedding – dance floor, margarita seating chart, custom bar and was Lissette executed EVERYTHING PERFECTLY. I got some quotes from other vendors but I am so grateful I ended up sticking with Velvet Design as everything was FANTASTIC. I was (and still am) obsessed with my bouquet and it held up SO well that I used it (and my husband’s boutonniere) at our after-wedding trash the dress shoot 3 days later!!! I actually emailed Lissette the day after the wedding because I was so overcome with how much she truly exceeded my expectations. Our wedding was absolutely perfect!!! P.S. Stephania was by far, the most helpful and easiest to work with! She made our wedding as stress-free as possible and we couldn’t be happier for her guidance and help! We made many changes and adjustments over a 5-month period… every time she was patient and understanding since we were from the U.S. and had other things going on. Wedding day, EVERYTHING was set up correctly and in AMAZING condition. She even added customized name tags to our tequila shot wall without asking and it was the perfect touch! I cannot say enough amazing things about Raul and the incredible job he did creating our chuppah for our wedding. From the very beginning, Raul truly listened to my vision and brought it to life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. Every detail was executed exactly how I wanted, and the final result was absolutely stunning. Our chuppah was one of the most important elements of our ceremony, and seeing it come together so perfectly made the day feel even more special and magical. It looked elegant, romantic, and completely reflected the vision I had dreamed of for our wedding. I received so many compliments from guests on how gorgeous the chuppah looked. My guests told me how the team worked all day before the ceremony to get the chuppah just right which I greatly appreciate. I cannot say ENOUGH Amazing things about Raul and his team.  His communication throughout this planning process was outstanding.  He had to change the proposal multiple times and not  one time did he complain.  I was working with him from United States for a wedding here in Mexico and he absolutely brought the vision to life of exactly what my bride wanted.. Nothing missed.
